Reason 234,348,302 I love dentistry? Friday afternoons to spend with my family. It just makes the weekend a touch longer and we love it around here. We spent this last Friday afternoon exploring the neighboring towns. The gas station in Brunswick has an awesome taxidermy display. Lots of animals you wouldn’t normally see preserved (weasel, possum, “the boogie man”…you’ll have to see it to know what I’m talking about). Sammi loves animals so she really liked it… I don’t think she realized they had been killed, but ignorance is bliss. I foolishly forgot to take photos. Then we checked out the Catholic church in town because I’d heard about how pretty it was. It’s cozy and intimate, seems like a great place to worship.
Next we headed to Verdigre. We explored the Carousel (a thrift store who’s proceeds go back to the community) and stopped for some groceries at the Frank’s.
The rest of the weekend was spent going to church, enjoying the weather, and getting the “girl’s room” ready. I’m only 25 weeks pregnant but I’m feeling the nesting thing kick in already. It’s so fun to pull out Sammi’s newborn clothes I saved, so many memories flood back in. Life flies by so fast.
