Last weekend, we went to Pierce, Nebraska to check out the 40th Annual Threshing Bee. This was a first for all of us, so we didn’t really know what to expect, but we had a good time! They had a lot of free activities. Sammi enjoy the bouncy houses, her first time and she passed out when we got home. She had to go on the “horsey” ride twice. They also had someone driving a train type thing for kids. We were surprised that she jumped into one of the barrels, she can be pretty hesitant about those kinds of things. Even though she looks so serious in the photos, she was laughing and having a great time. There was a parade of old tractors. We enjoyed a funnel cake topped with Bavarian cream and grape flavored shaved ice. It was a great family outing! We might have to go back next year.
